Ethereum hashrate set a historic record

Ethereum hashrate has been growing steadily since the end of June.Recall that in May, the Chinese government issued a warning to ban mining and trading of cryptocurrencies in the country. When miners started shutting down hardware, the hashrate of Bitcoin and Ethereum collapsed. By now, most of the major Chinese miners are back online.

According to OKLink Senior Researcher EddieWang, analysts expected that the London hard fork would reduce miners' earnings, however, due to the strong demand for NFT and DeFi, their revenues only increased. This attracts new people who want to make money on Ethereum mining.
