Ethereum Classic network to host planned hard fork

In July of this year, Ethereum Classic will undergo an upgrade, which should reduce the cost of fees.

this weekthe developers have announced that the Magneto upgradewill be held at the end of July. The update includes four EIPs (Improvement Proposals) that were previously adopted during the Ethereum Berlin hard fork.

On June 2 and 9, a beta test of the update started on the Ethereum Classic Morder and Kotti test networks. The Magneto hard fork will be launched as soon as the test is complete.

The developers ask all node owners to update their software to a version compatible with Magneto in the near future.
