Russian entrepreneurs urge authorities to speed up adoption of a package of laws to regulate relations in cryptocurrency industry. This was reported by the Izvestia newspaper and noted that the corresponding letter was sent to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The letter was compiled by the Russian UnionIndustrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), which earlier, on the contrary, called on the authorities not to rush into the legalization of the cryptosphere. Then businessmen believed that it was necessary to first understand the features of the industry and only then develop a regulatory framework for it.
Now RSPP believes that it is necessary to accelerate work in this direction, as many businessmen want to issue their tokens to reduce the use of traditional currencies.
The authors of the letter also emphasized that it is necessary to amend the civil law, this will create comfortable conditions for blockchain startups and introduce industry taxation.
First of all, it is necessary to introduce licensing of market players, which will increase transparency and ensure the security of transactions with digital assets.
One supporter of speedy adoptioncryptocurrency legislation advocates the head of the board of Nornickel Vladimir Potanin. He is interested in legalizing the industry, as he plans to issue a token provided by non-ferrous metals.
However, the State Duma previously said that this year, most likely, the adoption of the bill on the so-called digital assets will not take place.
