En + Group and BitRiver set up a cryptocurrency mining venture

The first project of the companies was the launch of a platform on10 MW., In the future it is planned to expand the capacity to 40 MW. The facility is located near the BitRiver data center in the city of Bratsk, Irkutsk region.

En + Group is engaged in the supply of electricity,BitRiver is responsible for operational management. The platform consists of 14 mobile modules, each of which can accommodate up to 400 new generation S19 Pro (110 Th) miners.

En + Group stressed that they do notdirectly by mining, but provide a platform for this activity. En + also funds 80% of the Bit + project, while BitRiver funds 20% and is responsible for construction, management and sales.

“According to experts, in Russia at presentthe industry already consumes up to 800 MW of installed capacity. In financial terms, this amounts to 12 to 20 billion rubles in revenue for energy companies alone, with potential growth to over 40 billion rubles in the short term.
