Elon Musk criticized the metaverse

The founder of Tesla and Neuralink doesn't see a future for metaverses that use VR headsets for connectivity.

InDuring an interview on the youtube channel The Babylon Bee, the billionaire stated:

These metauniverses are not for me, although many of themnow they say. Of course, you can put a TV on your nose, but does that mean that you are now in the metaverse? I can't imagine that someone would put a huge screen on their face and walk like that all day.

According to him, it is likely that in the future people will access virtual reality not with the help of helmets, but with the help of Neuralink. 

Long-term modern Neuralinkwill be able to completely immerse a person in virtual reality. But I think that we are still very far from being dissolved in the metaverse. Sounds strange.

He added:

Maybe, of course, I'm getting too old andI reject everything new, but at the moment I see no convincing arguments in favor of the marketing of the metaverse as better than reality. I do not understand this.
