Durov will give pre-trial evidence in January

In continuation of the legal saga of Telegram against the SEC, the founder of the company Pavel Durov will give pre-trialtestimony with two other Telegram employees.

The District Court of New York considered it necessary to conduct pre-trial hearings of the testimony of Telegram employees involved in the Gram token sale.

Durov must appear before judge 7 or 8January 2020. The place must be agreed by both parties. Vice President Ilya Perekopsky, who was responsible for communicating with investors during pre-sales, will testify in London on December 16, 2019. Sheyam Parekh, an employee of Telegram, whose name is indicated in the documents for investors will be heard on December 10 in the same place.

Durov will testify regardingSEC's persistent pursuit of the Gram project, which they consider unregistered securities. But Telegram does not agree with the accusation and insists that their coin is the only domestic currency for the TON platform. Following allegations by the SEC, Telegram filed a counterclaim on October 16, stating that its native coin could in no way be considered a security.
