“Bitcoin, it just looks like a scam.I was surprised, because with us it cost $ 6,000 and much less. I don't like it, because it is another currency that competes with the dollar. I want the dollar to be the world's currency. I've always talked about this, ”he said.
Trump also stressed that the US does not need to collect all the bitcoins in the world, but that the status of the dollar should be taken care of.
“I think they should set very, very high regulatory standards for him, but the currency should be the dollar,” he added.
