Decentraland to Host Third Annual Metaverse Arts Week

At the end of August, the annual Metaverse Arts Week will take place on the Decentraland platform, which will present the work of famous artists and digital artists.

Metaverse Art Week 2022 will take place from 24 to 28August, and will feature work from artists and designers from around the world, as well as major art houses such as Sotheby's and art communities and creative groups such as Artnet and UXartlab. Works from NFT marketplaces OpenSea and Rarible will also be featured.

In addition, for the first time in the metaverse, they will introduceworks by Frida Kahlo. According to Sam Hamilton, creative director of the Decentraland Foundation, the annual event comes at a turning point for wider adoption of Web3 technology and important decisions in the industry.

Previously, Decentraland, together with the payment service Transak, invited owners of virtual land to host crypto ATMs to increase the growth of cryptocurrency transactions.
