One of the world's largest cryptocurrency lenders, Genesis Global Trading, has filed for protection from creditors inNew York District Bankruptcy Court. The application was submitted in accordance with Art. 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code.
As the company said in a statement, recognizeOnly lending divisions are asking for bankruptcy: Genesis Global and its two subsidiaries, Genesis Global Capital and Genesis Asia Pacific. The trading business continues to function as usual.
