Crypto.com will launch its NFT marketplace

Leading cryptocurrency company Crypto.com is launching a new platform for non-fungible tokens, onwhere celebrities such as Snoop Dogg and Lionel Richie will release their creations.

According to the official announcement, the new platformCrypto.com will partner with popular authors and artists to release exclusive NFTs. The creators of the Crypto.com platform include BossLogic, Lionel Richie, Snoop Dogg, Boy George, Jonathan Monaghan and racing car company Aston Martin.

While Aston Martin is going to release NFTs aimed at motorsport enthusiasts, Snoop Dogg and BossLogic will release new music albums in the form of NFTs.

Google search volumes for 'NFT' spikehave risen since January, and the NFT market is approaching its first record of $1 billion. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey sold his first-ever tweet as an NFT for $2.9 million. Digital artist Beeple sold his collage “Every Day: The First 5K Days” for a record $69.35 million.
