Cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex was caught red-handed trying to advertise to its subscribers inTwitter coin TRON (TRX). The tweet was deleted 28 minutes after posting.
Slow but steady takeover of PoloniexJustin Sun has already begun as the exchange begins to directly promote Tron (TRX) on its twitter. On Sunday last week, the site published a strange tweet with the text: “Let's buy #TRON”. The message, however, was quickly deleted.
Fortunately, the Crypto_Deleted_Tweets (@CryptoDeleted) account managed to take a screenshot of the tweet before deleting it.

Many have interpreted this message asproof that the exchange is sinking. In 2018, it was bought by Goldman Sachs owned startup Circle and now it is touting one of the most controversial coins in the entire cryptocurrency industry. As some cryptocurrency commentators note, given the heyday and popularity of Poloniex in 2017, this can be regarded as falling from riches to mud.
