ConsenSys has announced a partnership between infrastructure solutions provider Infura and the Near Protocol project, according toin a press release.
“An integration that was in closed betawithin two months, and now widely adopted, marks Infura's move beyond EVM-compatible networks,” the company said.
ConsenSys also noted that the Near Protocol will provide many developers with access to a high-performance yet carbon-neutral ecosystem.
What is NEAR Protocol?
In March, ConsenSys raised $450 million in a Series D funding round. Investors valued the company at $7 billion.
Recall that in April, the developers of Near Protocol launched the USN algorithmic stablecoin pegged to the US dollar and backed by the native NEAR token.
