As a result of the first vote held among token holders, the proposal to add USDT support received 797,981 votes in favor, with 85,580 against.
According to the Compound Governance control mechanism, the developers completed the support offer within two days.
«Tether is now available for supply and borrowing through the Compound protocol»,said Compound founder Robert Leshner in a blog post.
At the same time, stalkcoin cannot act as collateral for loans on the protocol.
Earlier, Compound supported the project of a bitcoin-bound tBTC token of the ERC-20 standard, but we are not talking about adding it to the platform yet.
