Compass Mining announces placement of 25,000 new miners

Mining company Compass Mining, which previously reported staff and salary cuts, was able to straighten out the situation and deploy 25,000 new devices with a total capacity of 75 MW.

Let us remind you that at the end of June Compass Mining changed its management - CEO Whit Gibbs and CFO Jodie Fisher resigned. 

It seems that the new management has succeededkeep the situation under control. The company announced the deployment of 25,000 new miners in Texas. Moreover, among them are a variety of devices – Antminer S19XP, Antminer S19j Pro and Whatsminer M30S++.

The farm's power increased by 75 MW, while thisone of the “cleanest” mining farms - a natural gas power plant with a combined cycle with a total capacity of 1.1 GW is used to power the equipment.

Note that Compass Mining itself does not mine bitcoins - it provides hosting services for mining companies. Its largest client is Marathon Digital.

Previously, Compass Mining had a farm in Russia, but the company decided to sell its Russian business due to sanctions pressure.
