CoinShares: Investors have invested $8.3 million in digital assets in a week

Analytics company CoinSharesreported that last week the influx of investments in digital assets amounted to only $8.3 million, which indicates moderate investor interest in cryptocurrencies.

According to CoinShares analysts, last yearBitcoin saw minor inflows totaling $0.1 million this week, with recent price movements pushing total assets under management (AuM) to $15.9 billion, the lowest level since late June. The volume of short positions on Bitcoin increased to $172 million, which was the highest level on record. This prompted some profit-taking with the first outflow in seven weeks totaling $5.1 million.

Ethereum recorded an influx last weekinvestment of $7 million, which was the first positive factor after a successful merger and a four-week outflow. The recent launch of a short-term investment product on Ethereum saw a small inflow of $1.1 million. Investors continue to favor multi-currency products, which saw inflows of $1.8 million last week. Cosmos and XRP recorded inflows of $0.4 million and $0.5 million , respectively.

Specialists from the analytical company Glassnodebelieve that Bitcoin is trading below $20,000 due to strong pressure from the US Federal Reserve and an unfavorable macroeconomic climate. In their opinion, BTC will continue to trade in the range of $17,000-$25,000.
