Coincheck Exchange will reward customers with cryptocurrency for gas consumption

Japanese exchange Coincheck has partnered with technology company E-net Systems to increaseThe popularity and functionality of cryptocurrencies.

In the framework of cooperation, enterprises launchedCoincheck Gas service for trading platform customers from Tokyo. Traders will be able to pay gas bills in Bitcoin (BTC) and will receive a reward in BTC coins for spending the resource. The Coincheck Gas program has two bonuses:

  1. When paying a gas bill in virtual currency, the exchange user will receive a 3% discount.
  2. The award amount will be 3% of the cost of gas consumed.

Coincheck previously launched a similar project forpayment of electricity called Coincheck Electricity. The company seeks to bring cryptocurrencies to the masses and uses creative reward models to achieve this goal. In September this year, the exchange entered into an agreement with research firm Macromill Group to launch the Coincheck Survey system, which offers users to participate in various surveys. For passing the tests, a reward is provided in the form of Macromill Points, which can be exchanged for one of three cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum (ETH) or XRP.

Monex Group, parent company of Coincheck,applied a new dividend payment scheme to shareholders, according to which investors will be paid in Bitcoin starting September 30, 2019. The company will transfer BTC in the amount of $ 4.65 for each security until the end of the current fiscal year (March 31, 2020). To receive money in cryptocurrency, a depositor must open an account on Coincheck and submit an application on the firm’s website.
