Coinbase Wallet adds support for short addresses

According to the official announcement, Coinbase Wallet developers have added support for short addresses and Ethereum naming services(ENS).

Coinbase trading platform introduceda new way for users of their wallet to send crypto assets to each other. Now, instead of a long set of characters, they will be able to enter short and convenient addresses. 

Each Coinbase Wallet user has an account name that begins with an @. Now this name can serve as the address of a cryptocurrency wallet.

The new feature is compatible with all currencies,which are supported by Coinbase Wallet, including all ERC20 tokens. In order to eliminate the possibility of fraud, the wallet application has been updated. After the update, the function of completely hiding the account name became available to users. 

Coinbase Wallet has also integrated the serviceEthereum Names (ENS). ENS supports not only payments in ETH, but also in BTC, BCH, LTC and all currencies that are currently supported by Coinbase Wallet.
