On Friday, December 13, the Coinbase Pro cryptocurrency exchange will open the possibility of deposits in Orchid tokens (OXT). After ensuring sufficient liquidity, trading in the OXT / USD pair will begin.
</p>Orchid Labs Blockchain Startup Developsdecentralized alternative to VPN. Developers have created software that connects simple Internet users to a global pool of bandwidth providers. These providers can do OXT staking and share excessive bandwidth as network nodes.
The list of nodes is stored in a smart contract on Ethereum, and payment for bandwidth is made in OXT tokens (ERC-20 standard).
To use a decentralized VPN, you need to download the Orchid app and a «Web3-enabled wallet» (Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, Metamask).
Recall, Orchid Labs raised $ 43 million from investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Blockchain Capital, Polychain Capital and Sequoia.
