Circle Bitcoin startup fired part of the team again

The wave of layoffs at the cryptocurrency company Circle continues — the startup announced the dismissal of tenemployees, reports CoinDesk.

At Circle, this decision was explained by the reduction in departments due to the focus on business strategies aimed at stablecoins.

A week earlier, Circle co-founder Sean Neville announced that he would leave his post by the end of the year, although he would remain on the board of directors.

Let us remind you that in May the startup laid off 30 employees, which at that time amounted to about 10% of the staff. Then Circle explained the reductions by the tightening regulatory climate for the crypto industry in the United States.

In September, Circle also suspended the work of the research team.
