China Information and Industrial Development Center released the 15th Global Public Index withblockchain technology assessment, according to which cryptocurrencies are ranked based on technology, applications and creativity.
It’s not surprising that Bitcoin took ninth.place, while gaining the highest value in the field of creativity and the smallest in terms of application. The total Bitcoin index was 103.9. Among other large coins, Ethereum took second place with a total index value of 138.
The Center introduced the first such rating in May 2018, and EOS managed to lead the list in June 2018. The platform was highly appreciated in all aspects, its index was 151.4.
Tron (TRX) took third place, its overall indexwas 137.8, and its lowest creativity index was 18.1. Tron came in second place in the tenth and eleventh rankings, but was absent in the ninth. Tron recently reached new milestones — On December 9, the number of user accounts grew by more than 100,000, and the number of Dapps increased to 643.
A variety of altcoins made it into the top 10:NULS, Lisk, Neo, STEEM and Bitshares. The Stellar Lumens token ranked tenth on the list with an index of 102.5, missing out on the creativity index. XRP was ranked in eighteenth position, Monero was placed even lower at 22nd position. Among the main coins, Litecoin came in 32nd place, right after Zcash.
