Chelsea signed a sponsorship agreement with WhaleFin crypto firm

The British football club Chelsea has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Singaporean company WhaleFin, which provides serviceson trading and investing in cryptocurrencies.

According to the contract, WhaleFin will pay the team 20million pounds for placing your logo on the sleeves of players' shirts in the matches of the 2022/2023 season. WhaleFin will replace in the club's list of sponsors the automotive company Hyundai Motor, which is discussing alternative options for cooperation with the Blues.

Chelsea had financial difficulties afterjust as the British authorities imposed sanctions against the owner of the team, Roman Abramovich. The club was temporarily banned from selling souvenirs and froze the assets stored on its bank accounts. For this reason, experts suggest that the agreement between WhaleFin and the Blues was concluded back in January 2022.
