In one of his streams, IOHK CEO Charles Hoskinson said that regulators will not be able to ban or in any wayrestrict residents' access to Bitcoin and Cardano.
One of his listeners asked him a question – what will happen to Cardano if the US government decides to ban Bitcoin?
The creator of Cardano quickly dismissed this possibility, saying the US would never ban Bitcoin. In his opinion, the regulators are pursuing a fairly moderate policy.
This train is gone. Bitcoin will not be banned.
As a reminder, Gary Gensler, who lecturedon bitcoin and blockchain at MIT, recently led the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He has repeatedly spoken out in support of the new technology, stating that cryptocurrencies have already changed the global financial system.
