The CEO of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange tried to refute media claims that his capital exceeded $28 billion. The businessman called the information about his wealth inaccurate.

According to Bloomberg, Changpeng Zhao
is one of the three richest people in the world thanks to a net worth estimated at $28.2 billion. Zhao tweeted that Bloomberg did not have accurate data on his finances.
“The numbers are wrong. I don't even have that amount. I don’t know why they do this,” Zhao wrote, starting his tweet with a four. This is how Twitter sometimes labels fake news.

Binance CEO added that he neverconsidered the collapsed cryptocurrency exchange FTX a competitor. Binance, according to him, welcomes platforms with well-established business processes in the cryptocurrency space.
Zhao repeatedly denied the informationpublished in influential publications such as Bloomberg and Forbes, often calling their materials sowing fear, uncertainty and doubt. At the end of February, the head of Binance dismissed the suspicions of Forbes journalists, who claimed that Binance “behind the scenes” made transactions with $ 1.8 billion in customer collateral.
Last year, Zhao sued Bloomberg Businessweek for a story he said cultivated hatred for his company and tarnished his reputation.
