According to representatives of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), Binance does not have the rightwork in the country.
In an announcement released today, CIMAdeclares that neither Binance, nor the Binance Group, nor Binance Holdings Limited have the right to conduct financial activities in the United Kingdom (Islands – British Overseas Territory).
The authorities are currently investigating whether Binance, Binance Group or Binance Holdings Limited are conducting any activity in the Cayman Islands that would require regulatory oversight.
Last week the financial regulatorThe UK also released a statement indicating that none of the Binance Group companies have a permit or license to do business in the UK.
