Bitcoin's share of the cryptocurrency market fell significantly last week.
Just eight months agoBitcoin completely dominated the market. In December, its share was 70%, and now the military-technical cooperation is losing its position. However, its market capitalization is still pretty impressive, and holds above $ 178.49 billion.
The military-technical cooperation is trying to regain lost positions untilvery successful – in the new year the dominance index fell by 11%. This decline in the share of Bitcoin began around mid-January, when altcoins began to rise sharply in price.
The bullish race of Ethereum raised its price by 120%, increasing its dominance index to 8.65%. The third largest coin, XRP, holds just over 4.2% of the market.
