Block.one has announced the start of a competition among smart contract developers with a prize fund of $200 thousand.
The task of the participants will be to make a difficultan EOSIO-based smart contract that can store and invoke EVM (Solidity) smart contracts in a virtual environment like Ethereum. According to the organizers, if successful, developers will have the opportunity to take advantage of EOSIO, while working on the basis of any other blockchain platform that is more preferable for them.
There will be only one winner and the award will beonly the one who completes everything first will receiveconditions of the competition. Participants must create a suitable smart contract based on EOSIO within a maximum of 1 year; if no one succeeds during this time, the competition will automatically end.
The second one was released in October 2019.version of the EOSIO protocol, which added various improvements to the EOS virtual machine, which increased the efficiency of using system resources when processing smart contracts.
