Bittrex Cryptocurrency Exchange Announces Suspension of Services in 31 Countries

On October 18, the Bittrex exchange announced the closure of services in 31 countries. Representatives of the cryptocurrencyexchanges cited regulatory uncertainty as the main reason for the move.

According to an official announcement, traders using Bittrex International will lose access to their accounts on October 29th. Blocking will affect users from the following countries:

Afghanistan, Egypt, Bosnia and Herzegovina,Botswana, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Iraq, Laos, Lebanon, Libya, Maldives, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Somalia , Sudan, South Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe.

To simplify the withdrawal process, the exchange website has published a detailed guide on using and transferring cryptocurrencies from the platform.

Recall that in early June, Bittrex significantly reduced trading opportunities for US traders on the platform, excluding 42 coins from the list.
