Bitstamp is considering listing Ethereum Classic, Zcash, Stellar and other assets

The oldest European bitcoin exchange Bitstamp intends to expand the listing with a number of popular crypto assets.

INThe blog of the trading platform says that the possibility of listing the following coins is currently being considered:

• Basic Attention Token (BAT)
• Ethereum Classic (ETC)
• Paxos Standard (PAX)
• USD Coin (USDC)
• Stellar Lumens (XLM)
• Zcash (ZEC)
• 0x (ZRX)

According to representatives of Bitstamp, before expanding the listing, it is necessary to conduct a thorough analysis of the technical parameters of the respective coins, as well as conduct compliance control.

Note that Bitstamp adheres to extremelya conservative approach in adding support for new assets. So, today in the listing of the site there are only five coins - Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.

Recall that in February, Bitstamp began supporting native SegWit addresses in the bech32 format.
