Bitmain Launches New Antminer S19 and S19 Pro

The Chinese miner manufacturer issued a press release in which it presented the technical data of the newAntminer S19 and S19 Pro models. Information on the price and delivery time of new items is not yet available.

The most powerful install has hash speedup to 110 TH / s, which is twice as high as the previous top-end Antminer S17 model, which reaches 55 TH / s. The next generation Antminer S19 and S19 Pro are available in two versions. The first variant S19 has a hash rate of 95 TH / s, while the other variant has a hash rate of 90 TH / s. Both models have an efficiency of 34.5 J / t.

Antminer S19 Pro has models with a hash rate of 110 TH / s and 105 TH / s, both of which have an impressive energy efficiency of 29.5 J / t.

The range uses a new high-performance power supply APW12, designed for 3250 watts, and the new firmware provides faster startup speed and an intelligent control mechanism.

The release dates of the new ASIC miners have not yet been announced, but presumably they will beare available for delivery closer to the Bitcoin halving in May, especially given the current situation of the spread of the coronavirus in China.
