This year, the Bitcoin network will undergo a Taproot upgrade.
According to Taproot Watch, this Friday it reachedthe required number of blocks to support the update (at least 1815).
Taproot integration – this is the first majorupdate on the Bitcoin network since the addition of SegWit in 2017. Taproot activation will occur at block number 709.632, which is expected to happen in mid-November.
