According to monthly data from The Block, Bitcoin miners earned $1.72 billion in October, reachingsecond highest value.
October figures exceed April ones – $1.7 billion – and are just shy of March's all-time high of $1.75 billion.
Most of the profits were made from finding a new block – 6.26 BTC or $386.3 thousand. The transaction fee was 10% of total monthly revenue.
The upward trend in miners' earnings observed sinceend of summer, continues. After the halving, the total income of miners of the first cryptocurrency increased by 275%. At the beginning of last month, their daily profit reached $ 40 million, and the amount of commissions was a three-month maximum in commission income.
