Former Ant Group and Uber CEO Brian Schroeder has been appointed president of the U.S.a division of Binance to replace Brian Brooks, who abruptly resigned in August after just four months of work.
Binance.US reports that Schroeder oversees the company's strategy and implementation, financing, business and corporate development, and manages the company's legal, human resources, products and technology capabilities.
Schroeder, in turn, noted that Binance.US remains a “regulated” and profitable company that serves millions of customers.
Almost three years with Ant GroupSchroeder focused on the growth and expansion of the company's business and global partnerships. Prior to Ant, he was responsible for Uber strategy and business development in the Asia Pacific region.
Brooks stepped down a month ago due to "disagreements over the strategic direction of the company."
