Binance has announced the start of cooperation with the Turkish bank Akbank.Through this partnership, customersexchanges will be able to instantly convert cryptocurrency into Turkish lira and vice versa.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao stated:

Akbank is one of the largest in Turkey. It has been serving the crypto community since 2017. Thanks to cooperation, Binance users who have passed the KYC check and have an account with a Turkish bank will be able to buy cryptocurrency using a bank transfer with low fees.

Thanks to the new fiat channel, users will be able to deposit lira without fees and withdraw funds with a fee of 2.5 TRY.

According to a recent Statista survey, one in five Turks owns or has owned cryptocurrency.
