Binance has expanded the list of fiat currencies for the purchase of bitcoin using cards

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has added support for direct purchase of cryptocurrency using Visa and MasterCard cards viapayment processor Simplex. The list includes fiat money from 15 countries.

The currencies supported by the new option included:

  • pound sterling (GBP);
  • South Korean Won (KRW);
  • Russian ruble (RUB);
  • Australian dollar (AUD);
  • Swiss franc (CHF);
  • Czech koruna (CZK);
  • Danish Krone (DKK);
  • Norwegian Krone (NOK);
  • New Zealand Dollar (NZD);
  • Polish Zloty (PLN);
  • Swedish krona (SEK);
  • Turkish Lira (TRY);
  • South African Rand (ZAR);
  • Hungarian Forint (HUF);
  • Israeli Shekel (ILS).

Most of them were already available for purchase.digital assets paid through a card, such as the ruble, pound sterling or Czech koruna. Only for six currencies - HUF, NOK, CHF, ZAR, ILS and NZD - this form of payment became available for the first time.

According to the exchange, payments through Simplex will save users 2-3% on commission fees for each transaction.

Through the service with payment by credit cards, users can purchase Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), XRP and the native BNB exchange token.

In total, Binance supports direct purchase of cryptocurrency for 35 fiat currencies, including the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH).

Earlier, the head of the Changpan Zhao exchange announced plans for 2020 to add support for the currencies of 180 countries.
