Yesterday, the general director of the exchange, Changpeng Zhao, wrote that a new record was set on the exchange - turnoverIn 24 hours, the derivatives trading volume was $57 billion, and the spot trading volume was $23 billion.
Zhao noted that the current daily volumes are 4 times the monthly volumes during the 2017 bull run. In total, from November 15 to December 15, 2017, the turnover of the exchange amounted to $ 20 billion.
Due to the increased activity of traders, Binance developers have been able to discover new scalability issues. Zhao wrote:
