Binance becomes part of The Sandbox Metaverse

Binance today announced its further collaboration with The Sandbox, a decentralized gaming platform,by purchasing 4,012 LAND NFT tokens from The Sandbox prior to the start of the fourth LAND presale in the gaming metaverse, scheduled for September 15, 2020.

The Sandbox recently completed the sale of $3 million worth of tokens through Binance Launchpad, an exclusive platform for cutting-edge blockchain projects.

The Sandbox creates a virtual world in which players cancreate digital assets, own them and monetize the gaming experience using the platform token and the official Sandbox token $SAND, as well as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).LAND is an NFT-token (ERC-721) that is a digital object of reality in the metaverse The Sandbox.There is an unlimited number of LANDS token units, total 166464, each with a unique location.

Binance will use its LANDS tokens to engage with the community in The Sandbox virtual worlds; to organize future NFT competitions with the support of VoxEdit and The Sandbox NFT marketplace.Also, before the public (beta) launch of The Sandbox platform in December 2020, the exchange plans tohand out their LANDS tokens to the creators of the most attractive games based the Sandbox Game Maker as part of a series of upcoming contests.

The Sandbox is another game project supported by Binance Launchpad.In 2019, Binance Launchpad supported WINk, a platform for gaming, communication and betting in numerous blockchain ecosystems, using the WIN token as its own digital asset within the platform.

Sandbox held four successful LAND presales in2020, selling LANDS (ERC-721 NFT) for more than $ 1,500,000. Most of the offers were completed within minutes or hours due to high demand. In the 1st round of the last 4th presale, the premium LANDS and ASSETS were introduced and 75 percent of them sold out on August 4, 2020 in one hour. The second round of the 4th presale will take place on September 15, 2020.
