According to the official statement from Binance, starting January 3, exchange users will have access to trading pairsfrom euro. Please note that previously trading with euros was only available on the Binance Jersey platform.
Now Binance clients will be able to trade such pairs – EUR/BTC, EUR/ETH, EUR/BNB and EUR/XRP. In addition, the exchange will support trading of two stablecoins against the euro – USDT and BUSD.
Recall that last November, Binanceadded the ability to replenish and withdraw funds in euros, ruble, hryvnia and tenge. Trading pairs with the euro were already available on the Binance Jersey platform, which was launched last January. Now fiat currency trading is available to all Binance users.
CZ promises to add “180+” fiat currencies
Recall that earlier the management of the exchange has already announced its desire to support trade with all fiat currencies of the world. On January 2, Changpen Zhao shared his plans for 2020 on Twitter:
One of our key goals for 2020 is to popularize cryptocurrencies. To achieve this, we are going to add the ability to trade with 180+ fiat currencies.
