Bakkt Product Development Director Mike Blandina(Mike Blandina) said that the application will allow people to pay with cryptocurrencies at retail outlets, including the world's largest chain of Starbucks coffee houses.
The application will be launched in the first half of 2020. According to Bakkt's top manager, users will also be presented with tools with which they can make and track transactions.

“We want people on our platform to be able to manage their portfolio of digital assets: store cryptocurrencies, trade them and even pay for goods,” said Blandina.
Recall that in September, the Bakkt platform launched the trading of bitcoin futures, and in October the company announced the launch of the first regulated option contract for bitcoin.
