Anthony Hopkins to Launch NFT Collection of His Movie Characters

Hollywood icon Anthony Hopkins, together with creative media company Orange Comet, will launcha collection of NFTs depicting ten characters from his filmography.

Speaking to reporters, Anthony Hopkins said that his interest in non-fungible tokens (NFTs) was piqued after the release of his film "Zero Contact" as an NFT on Vuele.In June, Hopkins even asked rapper Snoop Dogg for advice on which collectible tokens were worthPay attention.

"For me, NFT is a blank canvas for creating art in a new format.NFTs allow you to share artistic inspiration with other people.I'm probably the oldest guy in the NFT community and on social media.It proves that anything is possible at any age," Hopkins said.

The NFT collection will be released under the name The Eternal Collection.of the ten most famous characters played by Hopkins.It included Hannibal Lecterfrom The Silence of the Lambs and One of the Thor of the Marvel Universe.The collection depicts the various archetypes of the human personality: the sacrificer, the lover, the hero, the creator, and the rebel.

Some NFTs will be animated short story videos with a duration of30 seconds to a minute – 100 variants each.Collectible tokens are planned to be launched in mid-September, they will beare available on the OpenSea trading platform.

According to a recent study by Footprint Analytics, the trading volume of the NFT market decreased by 41% in the second quarter due to speculative sentiment from the community.However, Orange Comet CEO Dave Broome is confident that high-quality NFT projects willbe supported by a society that loves art.

Recently, the consumer advocacy group Truth in Advertising criticized some celebrities for promoting NFTs as they fail to warnpeople about the possible risks of losing funds.
