According to Independent Research (IRCI), more than 80 percent of Singaporeans are interested in Bitcoin or have already purchased it.cryptocurrency.
Based on a survey of 1,000 Singaporeans from the endFebruary to early March 2021, about 43% of Singaporeans own cryptocurrency. Highest ownership percentage – 66%, among people aged 26 to 45, for all other age groups the figure is 29 percent.
35% of women own cryptocurrency, compared to 51% of male respondents.
46% of respondents said they plan to buy cryptocurrency in the next 12 months, while the likelihood of making a purchase from people under 45 years old is twice as high.
Only 7% of respondents believe that Bitcoin – this is a scam.
Adrian Přelozny, Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Reserve, says:
