Alibaba US users will be able to receive BTC cashback through the Lolli app

Bonus platform Lolli, which pays users rewards in BTC, has begun collaborating with the Chinesee-commerce giant Alibaba.

The platform’s collaboration with Alibaba became known on November 11, Singles’ Day, an analogue of Black Friday in the United States. This year, Alibaba Group's online sales on that day generated more than $38 billion.

Lolli allows users to receive cashback inBTC when buying goods in stores that are partners of the company. Lolli Communications Manager Aubrey Strobel said the new bonus program will only be available for purchases made in the United States.

For Chinese Americans,International students and tourists this can be an additional bonus if they participate in online holiday sales. At the same time, Chinese people will not be able to receive cashback.

Lolli CEO Alex Adelman called the partnership with Alibaba an important milestone for a startup that plans to enter the international market in 2020:

“This partnership will be a great first step forconnecting the two largest economies - China and the USA - through BTC and online commerce. At the moment, the option is available only to users from the United States, but we plan to expand internationally. ”

In July it became known that grocery shoppersSafeway chains will be able to receive cashback in BTC through the Lolli app. Additionally, last fall the bonus platform received $2.25 million from Bain Capital Ventures and Digital Currency Group.
