Alchemy partners with Polkadot-powered Astar project

Infrastructure blockchain platform Alchemy has entered into a partnership with the Astar project to develop Web3 in the ecosystemPolkadot. This is stated in a press release provided by ForkLog.

The agreement will make it easier to create dapps in Astar. Developers will have access to the Alchemy API to build sophisticated applications that take advantage of features previously unavailable in Polkadot.

The parties expect that the partnership will have a positive impact on the development of the Web3 sector. The Build2Earn initiative will enable developers to generate revenue through staking rewards.

“Supporting the ecosystem […] will help attract moremore incentives and innovation to the community. Our collaboration will provide the resources needed to develop Web3 developers on Astar, Polkadot and beyond,” said Sota Watanabe, founder and CEO of the project.

Astar is a smart contract platform based on Polkadot, designed to be a "hub for decentralized applications". In December 2021, the project won the auction for the third Polkadot parachain slot.
