It is necessary to legislate the questiontax collection from companies, individual entrepreneurs and individuals who are engaged in mining, says Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma committee on the financial market. He noted that the law on digital financial assets (DFA) needs serious improvements, Finmarket writes.

“We are not prohibited from mining, but at the same timethe regulation of this issue has not yet been clearly spelled out. The issue related to the taxation of this business needs to be properly spelled out in the legislation, ”Aksakov emphasized.

In September, he offered to put mining on the registertypes of entrepreneurial activity. A month later, the Governor of the Irkutsk Region Igor Kobzev came up with the same initiative, complaining about a significant increase in energy consumption due to underground miners. Kobzev believes that it is necessary to introduce increased electricity tariffs for miners.
