A former BTC miner discovered an old wallet on his computer that contained 1,000 bitcoins and its tokensforks.
On March 10, a post was posted on the Bitcointalk forum. The author of the post under the name whoamisoon writes:
Once upon a time, when you could mine on a GPU, Igot some bitcoins. I haven't used that computer since and I just discovered the wallet. Now I'm interested – how to withdraw bitcoin from your wallet and sell it?
Same day 1000 Bitcoins mined on August 24th2010, were transferred to the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange. Supposedly, the miner sold them before the price fell below $6,000 and was able to receive between $7 and $8 million. The value of BCH and BSV on the wallet is estimated at another $500,000.
He wrote:
