90% of institutions will increase investment in cryptocurrencies

Evertas surveyed investors who arethe aggregate control assets worth about $ 78.4 billion. 64% of respondents expect a small increase in investments in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. 26% of respondents predict a "sharp" increase in investment in cryptocurrencies over the next five years. The survey was conducted in July by research firm Pureprofile among 50 US and UK institutional investors, according to the report.

When asked why they predictincrease their investments in cryptocurrency, 84% of respondents said that progress in regulation makes this asset class more promising; 80% said the expanding cryptocurrency market would improve liquidity.

76% said that, in their opinion, more and morelarge financial companies and fund managers will offer their cryptocurrency services. The same percentage suggested that negative interest rates could push them to invest in cryptocurrency.

Despite this, 56% of respondents said thatthey are "very concerned" about the lack of suitable insurance coverage options for cryptocurrency investments; 54% are concerned about the working methods and compliance procedures of cryptocurrency companies that provide services to institutional investors.
