47% of wealthy millennials in the US buy cryptocurrencies

The survey found that 17% of large fortune owners in the United States have invested in digital assets.

According toregular investment researchMillionaire Investor Preferences (Millionaire Survey), currently 47% of Millennial millionaires (born between 1981 and 1996) invest a quarter of their investment portfolios in cryptocurrencies. At the same time, 35% of them hold more than half of their investment portfolio in digital assets.

These results were obtained through a study conducted with the participation of Spectrum Group, and focused on respondents from the United States. The total sample size was 750 people.

Millennial Millionaires Revealeda greater interest in cryptocurrencies than the owners of large fortunes in all age categories. As a result, it turned out that of all millionaires, about 17% invested in cryptocurrencies. At the same time, of these investors in digital assets, only one in ten invested more than 10% of their investment portfolio in such assets.

Interestingly, opinions are divided regarding NFTs.Half of those surveyed believe that such tokens will only be popular temporarily, and approximately the same number of respondents said that NFTs are an integral part of the development of the cryptosphere. Almost half of respondents have at least one NFT class token in their investment portfolio, but 40% of respondents do not intend to ever invest in such digital assets. Meanwhile, among those born between 1946 and 1964, 98% said they have not invested in NFTs and do not intend to invest in such digital assets in the future.
