Considering 6,000 trades in just four days aftercreating an account, experts from the publication TrustNodes doubted that it was owned by any user. Such activity is not typical for most ecosystem participants.

They hypothesized that the address is controlled bysome kind of bot that is not used in conjunction with the exchange's hot wallet. Even after the operation that caused a stir with a commission of 10.7 thousand ETH, 46 thousand ETH (more than $ 11 million) remains on his balance sheet.

In the last hours, the wallet has been sending transactionsevery minute with fees already less than $ 1. It is quite possible that this was not intent, but just an oversight, the so-called "fat finger error".

Other versions do not rule out that the walletassociated with some decentralized application, but there is no clue in the description of the transaction. Until recently, it was actively replenished thanks to regular transactions.

There are no obvious conclusions regardingrecipient addresses of these 0.55 ETH. Now it is empty, and the funds have been transferred to other wallets, and this happens automatically every time. The publication believes that its owner is not necessarily the Bithumb exchange, which appears in the description. It can be a hacker address masquerading as a cryptocurrency platform, or some kind of bot that instantly transfers funds to this site.

TrustNodes does not rule out that this may also be related to the ongoing investigation by the Chinese authorities against the clients of an unnamed OTC market maker, who was convicted of violating the law.

According to ETH Gas Station, the average transaction fee is currently under $ 0.2.

As a reminder, last year Spark Pool frozea mysterious payment with a commission of 2100 ETH (at that time it was the equivalent of $ 300,000). After identifying the sender of the South Korean blockchain firm, the pool agreed to return half of the commission received.

Earlier, ForkLog reported that in the Ethereum network since the beginning of the year, transaction commissions have grown significantly due in large part to the popularity of the Ponzi scheme like MMM.
