According to TheBlock, in JulyEthereum miners generated $143.8 million in revenue, a record amount in the last 23 months.
For comparison, in May the commissions accounted for only 10% of the revenue.
According to experts, the increase in profits is associated, among other things, with the growing popularity and price of DeFi tokens and applications that run on the Ethereum blockchain.
Bitcoin miners received $ 299 last monthmillion of revenue, which exceeds the profit of Ethereum 2 times. However, this figure is an all-time low for the Bitcoin network as the BTC mining reward was halved in May.
