Crypto analyst Ton Weiss predicts BTC rate will rise above $ 20,000

Popular analyst Tony Weiss said in an interview with IGTV that this year Bitcoin will not fall below the level of$ 10,000.

In addition, he predicted that in 2021the largest digital currency will be trading above $ 20,000. A scenario is not excluded in which bitcoin will reach $ 45,000 or even $ 50,000 by the end of next year.

It should be noted that earlier this year, Tony Weiss doubted the possibility of a BTC breakthrough.

Now this analyst, based onhistorical data, stressed that Bitcoin usually doubles its achievements after each new spurt. In this situation, reaching $ 45,000 (after a spurt to $ 20,000) or even above this level is more than realistic.

Weiss noted:

«At the beginning of the year, I thought that even next year would be a struggle to break the $20,000 mark. Now I think it is likely that we will easily break $20,000 next year.»

The analyst also drew attention to the rapidrise in the value of gold. In his opinion, bitcoin will continue to renew its highs in the medium term, if prices for the main precious metal keep the upward movement dynamics.
