China tests launch system for swarm of kamikaze drone drone

Beijing has developed a low-cost version of tactical suicide attack drones that, once deployed, form a swarm to attack.

The new system allows you to quickly launch aircraft from the body of a truck or helicopter and control them remotely using a tablet.

Demo video shows deploymentdrones similar to the first Chinese tactical attack drone CH-901, 1.2 m long and weighing 9 kg. Despite its small size, it can move at a speed of 150 km/h and remains in the air for up to two hours beforedetonation. A CH-901 swarm can be used to attack ground troops, tanks and other armored vehicles, and is also effective against air defense systems.

The technology is still at the stagetesting due to communication and swarm coordination problems. The Chinese Academy of Electronics and Information Technology has faced low performance in the artificial intelligence they use.

Let us recall that the British military recently announced the development of a drone with a shotgun for carrying out assault operations in urban environments.
